Brief Biography of Moliehi Morailane

Moliehi Morailane

I am the first child of Moeti and Mary Legwale and was born on the 18th April 1953 at White City Jabavu. I have two (2) siblings, Motlatsi (sister) and Mpho (brother).
I was baptized at St. Pauls Anglican Church in Jabavu by Father Mazibuko and afterwards the family moved to Dube Village in 1954.
I started school in 1960 at Moetapele Primary School and completed my matric at Morris Isaacson High School. I furthered my studies at Union College where I completed my certificate in pattern making and grading. After completing my certificate I worked at Jarmode Clothing as a pattern maker and grader.
I met Mothobi Morailane in 1975 and we were confirmed at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Orlalndo West. We were married on the 22nd March 1977 by Father Photolo. We are blessed with two (2) boys, Neo and Tholoana.
I went through a major operation of replacing my mitral valve in 1988 and through God’s grace I survived.
I continued my studies at T.C.B Hair Academy and obtained a diploma in Hair dressing. After completing my diploma, I worked as a hair technician for Clairol International.
I then joined Johnson & Johnson as a brand ambassador and worked in hospitals, clinics and school in Gauteng.
Today I work as a Servant of the church.
